- 2 cups of granulated sugar320 g
- 1 cup of water200 ml
- 2 packets of shredded coconut200 g
- 1 1/2 cup milk300 ml
- 1 cup caster sugar130 g
- Eggs3 unit(s)
- 4 tablespoons of butter100 g
- 2 cups of wheat flour200 g
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder14 g
- Vanilla essence1 teaspoon
- How to make caramel syrup In a pan, add the granulated sugar and bring to the fire, stirring constantly until it melts and caramelizes. Slowly add the water and stir until all the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool.
- Cake preparation method: In the blender place the eggs, butter, refined sugar, 100g of grated coconut, milk, vanilla essence and beat well.
- Pour the liquid into a bowl, add the wheat and mix until smooth.
- Add the baking powder and mix gently.
- In a greased shape with plenty of margarine, place the caramel syrup and distribute 100g of grated coconut over the caramel.
- Pour all the dough and spread it over the form so that it is uniform.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until lightly golden on top. Help yourself.
