- Cinnamon Powder1/2 tablespoon
- A pinch of salt to taste
- Wheat Flour2 cup
- Baking Powder1 tablespoon
- Start by preheating the oven to 180°C. Grease a 20 to 23 cm mold with butter and sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. (2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 of cinnamon)
- In a bowl, sift the flour, add the cinnamon and salt, mix and set aside.
- Peel the apples (if they are large, just two are enough) chop the apples into cubes or pass them through a thick drain and set aside. In a blender, beat the apple peels, oil, sugar and eggs until smooth.
- Add the mixture from the blender to the flour and mix well until it forms a dense and uniform dough. At that moment, add the chopped apple and the yeast and mix well. Transfer to greased shape and take to bake for 30 min. or until the surface browns and spreads the smell of cake around the house. Take the toothpick test to make sure. As soon as you remove the cake from the oven sprinkle some sugar and cinnamon over the still hot cake. It looks wonderful.
- Tip: you can decorate the cake with apple slices, or sprinkle granola. It looks beautiful and delicious!
