- Sugar3/4 cup
- Water3/4 cup
- Corn Friend1 tablespoon
- Lemon (juice)2 unit(s)
- Pastry dough1 unit(s)
- Wash, peel and cut the apples into small pieces. Place in a bowl with water and lemon juice. This will keep it from getting dark.
- In a pan, place the cinnamon, cornstarch, sugar and water. Mix to dissolve the starch well.
- Drain the apples and add the juice of one lemon. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until it starts to thicken.
- Cover the pan and cook for approximately 10 minutes or until the apples are cooked through. Let cool.
- Open the pastry dough and fill. Close by pressing with a fork and fry in hot oil. Drain on paper towels.
- Sprinkle a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Let it cool down a bit and it's done.
