- 1/2 cup of water100 ml
- Chopped Strawberries500 g
- 4 tablespoons of sugar60 g
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice30 ml
- 3 cups of wheat flour300 g
- 1 cup of sugar160 g
- Eggs3 unit(s)
- 1 cup of milk200 ml
- 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine100 g
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar5 g
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder14 g
- In a pan, place the chopped strawberries, water, 4 tablespoons of sugar, lemon and bring to the fire, stirring constantly until it boils, reduces and thickens. Let cool.
- In a bowl, place the eggs, sugar, butter or margarine and beat until fluffy and light.
- Add the wheat flour, milk, vanilla sugar and beat again until you get a smooth and homogeneous mass.
- Add the baking powder and mix gently just to incorporate.
- Grease a rectangular shape with butter or margarine, place the dough and on top distribute spoonfuls of the jelly and mix with a toothpick.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar, garnish with strawberries and serve.
