- Corn for hominy500 g
- Hot milk1000 ml
- Box of condensed milk395 g
- Sugar3/4 g
- Coconut milk200 ml
- grated coconut50 g
- Place the hominy corn in a bowl and soak it in 1 liter of water overnight;
- After this period has passed, drain water and transfer the corn to a pressure cooker;
- Cover the corn with water, letting 4 fingers pass over the corn;
- Then cover the pan and take it to the fire;
- Let it cook for 40 minutes after getting pressure;
- Remove from heat and let the pressure release itself;
- Tip: check if the beans are soft, if not, let them cook a little longer;
- Keep the corn in the pressure cooker and add the milk that must be boiling, the sugar, the coconut milk, the condensed milk and the grated coconut;
- Tip: You don't need to remove the water from cooking the corn;
- Mix everything and take it to the low fire, always stirring for about 30 minutes;
- Tip: the point is when the broth is very thick and creamy;
- Transfer to an individual platter or bowl;
- Garnish with cinnamon to taste and serve immediately or leave in the fridge and serve chilled.
