- Whole or semi-skimmed milk1 cup
- Demerara sugar1 cup
- Cake yeast1 tablespoon
- Combine all ingredients in a blender, except the yeast.
- Beat until it forms a homogeneous mixture.
- Add the baking soda and beat again.
- Put the mixture in a greased form.
- Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°.
