- Recipe
- Water250 ml
- Sugar2 tablespoon
- Unsalted butter or margarine2 tablespoon
- Pinch of salt1 unit(s)
- Wheat Flour300 g
- Egg3 unit(s)
- Cinnamon and sugar mixed together to taste
- Melted chocolate or dulce de leche to taste
- 1- Heat the water in the pan 2- Lower the heat and add the butter and sugar 3- Stir until the butter dissolves
- Gradually add the wheat flour (do not stop stirring) until the dough comes away from the bottom.
- 1- Remove from fire 2- Add the eggs (one at a time) 3- Stir until smooth
- Place the dough in a pastry bag (pitanga nozzle)
- 1- Squeeze the pan with the hot oil 2- Cut with a knife (size of your preference)
- 1- Place on a paper towel to absorb the fat (after fried) 2- Roll in cinnamon with sugar 3- Put the melted chocolate (or dulce de leche) in a bowl 4- When eating, dip the churros in chocolate (or dulce de leche) 5- Serve :)
