- Sugar11/2 cup
- Wheat flour21/4 cup
- Natural unsweetened yogurt180 ml
- Baking soda1/2 teaspoon
- Baking powder1/2 teaspoon
- Melted unsalted margarine or butter110 g
- Brown Sugar1/3 cup
- Cinnamon powder2 teaspoon
- Condensed milk200 g
- Sour cream200 g
- Oil3/4 cup
- In a mixer, beat the eggs and sugar for 2 minutes.
- Add the yogurt and oil, beat quickly just to combine.
- Sift the flour, bicarbonate, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Gently mix until a homogeneous mixture is formed. DO NOT hit the mixer to avoid a heavy dough.
- Place in a greased and floured form. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 35 minutes.
- While the cake is baking, make the syrup.
- Syrup: Mix the melted margarine with the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Then add the condensed milk, cream and stir until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- In the still warm cake, make holes all over the cake (I used a barbecue stick) and cover with the syrup.
- Wait to cool down to unmold and finish by sprinkling powdered cinnamon on top.
