- Chill a Coupe glass by filling it with crushed ice and leave it to await the cocktail like this.
- Pour the liquid ingredients directly into a cocktail shaker and fill it with plenty of ice.
- Close the shaker with its other part and shake the drink vigorously until the shaker feels cold in your hand.
- Open the cocktail shaker and double strain the drink from one part to the other.
- Discard the ice used to shake the drink and close the shaker again by shaking its contents again, without the ice, in a wide, straight motion from top to bottom.
- Discard the crushed ice from the Coupe glass and position it to receive the cocktail that will be strained from the cocktail shaker.
- Open the cocktail shaker and strain the drink directly into the cooled Coupe glass.
- Garnish the cocktail with a rose petal positioned in the center of the drink.
