- 5 tablespoons of butter or margarine125 g
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour350 g
- 3 cups of milk600 ml
- 1 1/2 cup shredded coconut75 g
- 1 cup of sugar160 g
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder14 g
- 1 1/2 cup condensed milk395 g
- 1 cup coconut milk200 ml
- Shredded coconut for garnish to taste
- In a bowl, place the eggs, butter or margarine, sugar and beat until fluffy and light.
- Add the wheat flour, 2 cups of milk, the grated coconut and beat until a smooth and homogeneous mass.
- Add the baking powder and mix gently.
- Grease a rectangular shape with butter or margarine, place all the dough and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40 minutes.
- For the syrup, in a pan put 1 cup of milk, coconut milk and condensed milk. Bring to a boil, stirring until it boils.
- Cut the cake into squares, drizzle with the syrup, sprinkle with grated coconut and refrigerate for 2 hours. Help yourself;
