- Put all the ingredients in a pan and mix well, take it to the low fire stirring non-stop, wick all over the bottom of the pan and on the sides.
- As it boils it will thicken a lot. The proper point to take it off the fire is when we turn the pan and the dough runs completely to the side.
- Remove from the heat, place in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap placed on top of the dough. Let cool at room temperature.
- Butter your hands and shape into balls, roll them in grated coconut or granulated sugar.
- If you want, add a carnation to decorate.
- I like to use a thick aluminum pan or a nonstick pan, to help keep it from nailing to the bottom.
