@cleoalmeida_- Ingredients
- Recipe
- Corn for red hominy250 g
- Condensed milk1 unit(s)
- Whole milk1 l
- Coconut milk250 g
- Whole Grated Coconut100 g
- Sugar2 tablespoon
- Soak the hominy corn in hot water for at least 6 hours or overnight to soften a little.
- The soaking time has passed. Put the corn in the pressure cooker with water covering the corn and let it cook for about 30 to 40 minutes and once again take the pressure off and check if the corn is cooked.
- After cooking, take off the pressure and put it on the normal fire. Add all the ingredients except the sugar and mix well until everything is incorporated. Let it boil on low heat.
- While it boils, make a caramel with the sugar, once it's ready, put it inside the pan with the corn and the other ingredients. Mix well, let it boil a little and turn off the heat. Okay, just enjoy.
- Note: I use sugar caramel to color the hominy. It is brown and very tasty.
