- 6 cups of milk1200 ml
- 1 1/2 cup sugar + 4 tablespoons300 g
- 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine100 g
- Eggs3 unit(s)
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour250 g
- 1 cup cocoa powder90 g
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder14 g
- 1 pinch of salt to taste
- 2 cups of shredded coconut100 g
- 1 1/2 cup condensed milk395 g
- For the cream, in a pan place 1 liter of milk, 4 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine, 1 sieved egg yolk, the corn starch, mix and bring to a low heat, stirring constantly. until it boils and thickens slightly.
- In a bowl place the egg whites, 1 pinch of salt and beat until stiff peaks form. Reserve.
- In another container place 1 1/2 cup of sugar, 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine, 2 egg yolks and beat until you get a fluffy and light cream.
- Add cocoa powder, wheat flour, 1 cup of milk and beat until you get a smooth and homogeneous mass.
- Add the snow whites, the baking powder and mix gently with movements from top to bottom, until completely mixed.
- Grease a rectangular marinex with butter or margarine, place the chocolate mass, on top add the cream, sprinkle grated coconut, condensed milk, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 60 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely, sprinkle with iced sugar, cut and serve.
