Leve ao fogo médio o leite e o açúcar e a manteiga, por mais ou menos duas horas ou até que esteja em ponto de brigadeiro mole (desgrudando do fundo da panela.)

Bring the milk, sugar and butter to medium heat for about two hours or until it is at the point of soft brigadeiro (unsticking from the bottom of the pan.)

Dica: quanto mais tempo deixar mais duro vai ficar ..

Tip: the longer you leave it, the harder it will be..

Para aumentar a receita eu uso 1 xíc de açúcar para cada litro de leite.

To increase the recipe I use 1 cup of sugar for every liter of milk.
