- To the roof: 1 cup of chocolate powder 1 cup of refined sugar 1 tablespoon of butter or oil ½ cup of water How to make: Grease a 25 cm shape with oil and set aside. Preheat the oven to 180C. In a bowl mix the rice flour, flour, baking powder, salt and set aside. In the blender place the eggs, oil, carrot and sugar and beat until obtaining a very uniform cream. Start adding the carrot cream to the dry mixture little by little and mix the ingredients using a fouet. Mix well and pour the cake batter into the pan. Bake for approximately 35 minutes at 180C. Do the toothpick test to see if the cake is done. Remove from the oven, let cool and unmold.
- prepare the syrup Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and place over medium heat, stirring constantly with a spatula. When the mixture boils, let it cook for approximately 5 to 8 minutes without stopping to stir. Turn off the syrup and immediately pour over the cake.
