- Wheat flour2 cup
- Egg3 unit(s)
- Milk1 cup
- Margarine or butter2 tablespoon
- grated coconut100 g
- Sugar1 cup
- Corn starch1 cup
- Baking powder1 tablespoon
- Beat the eggs, butter and sugar in a blender or mixer until it forms a whitish mass.
- Add the milk, grated coconut, flour and cornstarch and whisk for another 3 minutes.
- Add the yeast and mix gently.
- Pour the mixture into a greased and floured shape (I used a shape with a hole in the middle, but it can be any shape).
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the dough comes out clean.
- Wait for it to cool and unmold.
- Tip: it's a great option to be served in the café for breakfast. It also goes well as a dessert, for this, moisten the cake with a mixture of milk, sugar and grated coconut.
