- Condensed milk1 unit(s)
- Sour cream1 unit(s)
- Corn Starch (Maizena)1 tablespoon
- Oil1/2 cup
- Milk200 ml
- In a mixer, add the egg whites and reserve the yolks, and beat for approximately 5 minutes.
- Add the yolks and sugar, mix everything until you form a homogeneous and yellow cream.
- Add the milk and oil and half of the wheat flour, beat everything
- Then add the rest of the wheat flour and the baking powder. Place between 8 and 10 chopped strawberries in the dough
- With the shape already greased and the oven preheated to 240° degrees. It's time to put the dough in the shape and put it in the oven.
- Bake for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Keep an eye on your oven as the time the cake will stay in the fire depends a lot on your stove
- Don't forget the cake in the oven. To check if the cake is good, do the toothpick test.
- Now let's make a white cream.
- In a pan, add condensed milk and cornstarch. Mix very well, to break up the pellets, then turn on the fire, at high temperature.
- Add the milk mix well and lower the heat, do not stop stirring as the cream is very easy to burn
- When it is ungluing from the bottom of the pan, turn off the fire, and add the cream of milk.
- Mix it all up. Then cover the cream and let it cool completely.
- With the cold cake and the ice cream too! You can now pour the cream on top of the cake.
- Leave in the fridge for about 2 hours for the cream to set.
- With the rest of the strawberries that were left, make a decoration on top of the white cream
- This is at the discretion of each one, if you don't want topping, you will only use between 8 and 10 strawberries. This will depend on the size of your shape.
- My shape is 25 cm in diameter and 8 in height
