- Fig500 g
- Sugar250 g
- Water2 l
- Coloring - optional to taste
- Boil the figs for approximately 15 minutes. Let cool.
- Place in the freezer for approximately 3 hours.
- Remove the figs from the fridge and place them in room temperature water and remove the skin.
- In a pan put the water, sugar, fig and coloring.
- Let it cook until the syrup turns into a molasses and the fig is well softened.
- Remove from heat and it's ready.
