- Stale bread4 unit(s)
- Whole milk1 cup
- Eggs2 unit(s)
- Lemon zest to taste
- Vanilla Essence to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Cinnamon to taste
- Earth Butter to taste
- Cut the stale bread (I used French bread, but it can be another type) into thick slices.
- Mix milk with eggs and beat until smooth.
- Add the lemon zest and vanilla and mix.
- In a skillet, place enough butter from the earth to cover the bottom of the pan. Let it warm up.
- Soak the bread in the egg-milk mixture until it is completely covered by the liquid, but don't let it stay too long.
- Put it to fry in the frying pan. When one side is golden brown, turn and fry the other side.
- Make a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Pass the french toasts in this mixture after being fried and enjoy.
