@cintiacosta- Ingredients
- Recipe
- Chocolate Cupcakes (see my chocolate cake recipe)20 unit(s)
- Buttercream (recipe for this topping is on my profile too) to taste
- Filling of your choice (I suggest dulce de leche or brigadeiro) to taste
- fondant (small pack)1 unit(s)
- Gel food coloring in desired colors (I used turquoise, lilac, black and orange) to taste
- Pastry nozzle leaf, pitanga and perlé to taste
- CMC ("glue" edible from fondant) to taste
- Prepare your cupcakes following this chocolate cake recipe. Place cupcake molds on a baking tray with niches and use a ladle to place the dough, taking care not to exceed 2/3 of the mold (if it doesn't overflow in the oven).
- While the cupcakes are cooling, make the buttercream (recipe is on my profile). Separate into bowls to color the desired colors. To do this, add just a drop of food coloring and mix gently until uniform. Repeat until you reach the desired tone.
- With the back of the pastry tip, remove the cores from the cupcakes.
- Place the filling in a pastry bag, make a small cut at the end and fill the cupcakes.
- DECORATION: WITCH HAT Dilute a tiny bit of CMC in a coffee cup of water and set aside. Open the black fondant and cut circles smaller in diameter than the cupcake. Reserve. Now, separate the paste into balls and make a "coxinha" with each one. I twisted the tip a little. With a brush, put a little bit of diluted CMC on the base of the hat and glue the kitchen. Open the thin colored paste and cut strips. Use one piece to wrap around the base of the hat and the other to make the bow. Finish with a ball in the middle of the loop, always using the CMC to join the parts. Let it dry. When they are firm, cover the cupcakes with buttercream using a cherry nozzle and place the hat on top.
- OWL DECORATION Open the white folder and cut out circles to be the eyes. If you don't have a cutter, you can make balls and mash them. Do the same with the black paste, but smaller circles. Tint some of the white paste with orange to make the spout. Make mini drumsticks or triangles. With the perlé nozzle, cover the cupcakes with buttercream. Place the white part of the eyes and, with CMC or a little water, glue the black part. Place the nipple between the eyes. Finish with buttercream in the foil nozzle to make the ears (the distance between them should be more or less the distance between the eyes).
- Now, just serve and have the kids party at the time of Trick or Treat on Halloween!
