- Water2 l
- coconut200 ml
- Milk2 l
- Sugar1 cup
- Coconut100 g
- Cinnamon Stick2 unit(s)

- Cinnamon powder to taste
- Put 1 liter of water to boil. In a container, place the hominy corn and boiling water for about 1 hour. Drain and place the corn in the pressure cooker with 1.5l of water. Add the cinnamon and cloves, cover the lid and let it cook for 40 minutes on low heat after the pressure cooker. Turn off the heat and let the pressure release completely. Uncover the pan and add the milk, sugar, coconut milk and grated coconut. Return the pan to the heat and let it boil for 30 minutes on low heat. Stir occasionally to stop it sticking. Check if the hominy is very soft. Season with more sugar if needed. Let cool and transfer to a refractory. You can serve it hot or cold. When serving, sprinkle with ground cinnamon if you prefer! 😋
