- Leave the hominy to soak for 3 hours or overnight and after draining the water. Place approximately 1.5 liters of drinking water in the pressure cooker and drain the hominy. Bring to a boil and then cover the pressure cooker and let it cook for 35-40 minutes. After releasing the pressure, with the fire off. Bring the pan to a slide and pour the hominy corn with the water, if any. In a new pan, place the internal contents of the cans/box of condensed milk, milk, coconut milk; put the cloves, cinnamon sticks and the drained hominy corn. Stir well and bring the pan to a boil. Let it boil a little and then turn off the heat. Your canjica is ready. Eat cold or iced. You can put paçoca for non-allergic people on the plate or cumbuca where you will put it to eat.
