- Syrup: In a wide-bottomed pan, melt the sugar until golden. Add 1/2 cup (tea) of hot water and stir with a spoon. Let it boil until the sugar clumps dissolve and the syrup thickens. Line a mold with a central hole (19 cm in diameter) with the syrup and set aside. Pudding: Mix all the pudding ingredients in the blender and pour into the reserved form. Bake in a bain-marie, in a medium oven (180º C), for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once cooled, refrigerate for about 6 hours.
