- Orange Peel4 unit(s)
- Orange Juice1 cup
- Soybean oil or coconut oil1 cup
- Large egg4 unit(s)
- Oat bran2 cup
- Demerara sugar1 cup
- Candied fruit1/3 cup
- Chopped dried apricots1/3 cup
- Black raisins1/2 cup
- White raisins1/2 cup
- Medium rolled oats to decorate the cake to taste
- Pinch of Cinnamon Powder1 unit(s)
- Baking Powder to taste
- Candied fruit and raisins to decorate the cake to taste
- In the blender add the orange peels, orange juice, oil and eggs and beat well until smooth.
- Add sugar and beat again
- In a bowl mix the oats with a pinch of cinnamon powder
- Add the mixture beaten in the blender with the oat bran and cinnamon powder and mix well until smooth.
- Dip the candied fruit, raisins and chopped dried apricots in the oatmeal so they don't sink into the cake.
- Add the floured fruits to the dough and mix well.
- Lastly add the baking powder and mix gently
- Unite a form of English cake with little butter and oat bran
- Put the dough in the mold and decorate with crystallized fruits and raisins and oats in medium flakes
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely and unmold carefully.
- Serve then 😋🎄
