- Sugar (1 and 1/2)1 cup
- Orange, without peels, without seeds, without white core (cut into cubes)1 unit(s)
- Wheat flour (1 and 1/2)1 cup
- Chemical Yeast1 tablespoon
- Sugar3 tablespoon
- Corn starch1/2 tablespoon
- Orange (juice)2 unit(s)
- PASTA: In a blender, beat the eggs, sugar (1 and 1/2 cup), oil and orange, for about 2 minutes;
- Transfer the mixture from the blender to a bowl and add the flour and baking powder and mix the dough well with a fuer until smooth;
- Transfer to a greased and floured shape (I used a ring shape) and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 35 to 40 minutes (do the toothpick test);
- SYRUP: In a pan, place the orange juice, the 3 tablespoons of sugar and the corn starch, bring to a medium heat, always stirring until it thickens (it's very fast);
- After the cake is baked, unmold it while still warm, make holes and place the syrup on top while still hot;
- Ready, now just taste 😋.
