- Recipe
- Brown sugar3/4 cup
- Butter2 tablespoon
- Egg1 unit(s)
- Vanilla essence1 tablespoon
- Peanut Butter1 tablespoon
- Flour3/4 cup
- Yeast1 tablespoon
- Chocolate bar (milk or semisweet)1/2 unit(s)
- Salt to taste
- Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, using some of the butter to stick the paper to the baking sheet.
- Break the chocolate into coarse pieces.
- In the mixer, add the brown sugar, butter and a pinch of salt and beat until you get a fluffy and homogeneous cream.
- Add the egg and let it mix well.
- Then, add the vanilla essence and peanut butter and beat again.
- Gradually add the flour, waiting to incorporate well before adding more.
- Turn off the mixer, add the yeast and the chocolate pieces and, with the help of a spatula, mix well.
- Use a spoon to portion the dough and make balls. Place on the baking sheet with plenty of space between them, after all, with the heat of the oven, they will "melt" and spread well (if they are too close, they will stick to each other, forming a cookie monoblock).
- Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until browned.
- Tip: if it's too hot and you have trouble forming balls, let the dough rest in the fridge for 15 minutes and try again. Just don't let it freeze too long, as it's a butter-based dough, which gets hard when chilled.
- Tip 2: at the time of consumption, if the cookies are already cold, heat them up for 20 seconds in the microwave - this will make the chocolate pieces melt inside!
