- Cut the peppers in half and remove all the seeds and the white part. I do this with a teaspoon. I think it's much more practical. Well, I already remove the seeds and the white part at once. Then cut into 3 or 4 pieces. In a mixer or blender, place the peppers, apple, garlic and water. Whisk for a few moments just until the pepper is chopped and the apple is crushed. Put the mixture in a pan, add the sugar, vinegar and salt. Mix with a wooden spoon and place over low heat. Let it cook until it reaches the consistency of jelly, stirring occasionally. It should take about 10 minutes. For you to know the consistency, it's pretty easy. Take a spoonful of the jam and place it on a smooth, cool surface. It should be creamy when it comes in contact with the surface. If it hardens, it's overdone. You can add more water. If it gets too liquid it's because it still needs to cook a few more minutes. When it's ready, just put it still hot in sterilized jars.
