- Cornmeal150 g

- Milk150 ml
- Demerara sugar100 g
- Sunflower oil100 ml
- Butter30 g
- Minas or Canasta cheese160 g
- Guava jam100 g
- Baking powder1 tablespoon
- Salt1 coffee spoon
- Preheat the oven to 180º. In the blender: Beat the eggs, sugar, milk, oil and butter until smooth. Then add the 60g of cheese, a pinch of salt and cornmeal. Beat once more in the blender. Finally, add the baking powder and mix with a spoon until the dough is incorporated. Also add some pieces of cheese and guava. . In a greased round shape with a hole, place the rest of the pieces of cheese and guava paste at the bottom of the shape and then pour the cake dough over this “walk” of guava paste with cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes. Do the toothpick test to confirm that it is already baked. Then just wait for it to cool down to unmold and it's ready!
