- Fresh natural, unsweetened shredded coconut (I bought freshly grated at the house of greens)1 unit(s)
- Skimmed milk powder10 tablespoon
- Sugar (I used demerara)8 tablespoon
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Filtered water400 ml
- Take the coconut, pour it into the pan and mix it with the water.
- Then add the milk to the pan and mix well.
- Add the salt and sugar and mix well.
- Turn on the stove, mix well little by little.
- After about 10 minutes with the stove on, let the pot boil.
- When it starts to boil, stir well and for 10 to 15min stir and turn off
- Let cool and serve as you like. You can eat it as a cocada or as a filling. It's great ice cream too.
