- Beat the butter until it turns white, then add the sugars. Always beating the dough, add, one at a time, the egg, salt, vanilla essence, flour and, finally, the bicarbonate of soda. Finally, add the chocolate chips and mix lightly. It is important to preheat the oven to 180°C for at least 10 to 15 minutes. In a shape, place parchment paper and, on top, place the dough in the shape of mounds (use a small amount, which fits in a teaspoon). The mounds must be well passed around because the cookie will melt. Place the pan in the oven and leave for about 8 minutes until the edges start to brown. Don't let it brown too much otherwise the cookie will be hard. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before consuming.
