- Beat the eggs, sugar, oil and milk well in a blender. Add the cornmeal, yeast, flour and beat just to mix all the ingredients. At this time, if you chose to add fennel, add and mix with a spoon. Reserve. Chop the cheese and the guava paste and pass the cornmeal or wheat flour to leave the cubes loose. In a greased 22cm diameter shape, place 1/3 of the dough. Place part of the cheese and guava cubes. Place another 1/3 of the dough on top and arrange a few more cubes. Place the rest of the dough on top and arrange a few cubes on the surface. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out dry.
