- Fennel to taste
- Guava in pieces to taste
- Mix the egg, milk, oil, sugar and cornmeal in a blender, beating well.
- Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the flour, baking powder and fennel, mixing well.
- Pour part of the dough into a greased and floured tin, and add a layer of guava paste. Repeat this process until the entire shape is filled.
- Bake in a preheated oven (180°C) for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
