- Granulated Tapioca1.1/2 cup
- Coconut Milk1 cup
- Whole milk2.1/2 cup
- Coconut Flakes100 g
- Refined sugar4 tablespoon
- Dulce de leche to taste
- Refined Sugar (For sprinkling) to taste
- Cinnamon powder (For sprinkling) to taste
- Soybean oil1 l
- First, line a small rectangular baking sheet with plastic wrap.
- Place the tapioca, the 4 tablespoons of sugar and the coconut in a refractory. Boil the milk and add it to this refractory. Stir constantly so as not to form lumps, stirring until thickened.
- Place this mixture on the baking sheet, spread until smooth, cover with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
- Remove the dough from the roast, cut into cubes of approximately 3 cm, and return to the fridge for 15 minutes.
- Fry in oil at 180 degrees until golden. Remove the dices and place in a refractory with paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Sprinkle sugar mixed with cinnamon on the dices and serve with the dulce de leche.
