- Baking powder (I prefer to use Royal1 tablespoon
- A pinch of salt to taste
- Sugar1 cup
- Eggs3 unit(s)
- Milk1 cup
- Oil 1/21 cup
- Vanilla essence1 teaspoon
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the milk, vegetable oil and vanilla essence to the egg and sugar mixture, and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the liquid mixture, mixing until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before unmolding.
- For an extra touch of indulgence, serve the wet chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a generous amount of hot chocolate sauce.
