- 📍 cake Preheat the oven to 180°C;
- Start by removing the corn from the cob.
- Hold the end of the corn on the cob in your hand.
- Place the other end firmly against a board, keeping the tenon nearly vertical.
- Place a knife on the top (tip) of the corn on the cob near the base of the kernels and slice downwards along the cob towards the cutting board, cutting several rows of kernels. .
- Repeat this movement for the entire ear;
- Place half of the corn kernels in a blender, add the milk, sugar, salt, margarine and grated coconut.
- Beat for about 3 minutes on medium speed.
- Add the rest of the corn and beat for another 5 minutes; .
- Grease a form (pool) with margarine and sugar;
- Pour in all the dough and bake for 45 minutes or until the toothpick comes out dry.
- Let it cool and prepare the curau;
- 📍 Curacao . Beat the corn kernels in a blender along with half the milk, the salt and half the sugar until smooth;
- Strain the liquid through a sieve directly into a pan, add the rest of the milk;
- Place over medium heat and stir continuously until the curau thickens.
- When it starts to thicken, add the rest of the sugar and mix until it thickens and leaves the pan.
- Turn off the fire.
- 📍 Assembly Mode . Gently unmold the cake and pour the still hot curau over the cake;
- Let it cool, then put it in the fridge and serve it chilled.
