Caprese Salad with Burrata and Balsamic Reduction

  • Balsamic Acetate0.5 cup
  • Basil leaves to taste
  • Burrata1 unit(s)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil to taste
  1. For the balsamic reduction, place the balsamic vinegar in a pan over low heat. Let reduce to 1/3 of the volume, stirring constantly, let cool until creamy. If it gets too solid, add a little water and put it on the fire again to get the point right.
  2. Slice the tomatoes and arrange on a platter.
  3. Open the Burrata with your hands and place on top. Add the basil leaves as well.
  4. Season with salt, pepper and olive oil, finish with the balsamic reduction and serve.
