- Abóbora Paulista or cabotiá600 g
- Chopped garlic cloves2 unit(s)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Grated Ginger1 teaspoon
- Ground Duckling300 g
- Sliced Onion1 unit(s)
- Brown Sugar1 teaspoon
- Olive oil2 tablespoon
- Green smell to taste
- In a large pan, heat the oil and brown the garlic.
- Add the peeled, seedless and diced pumpkin. Season with salt and pepper.
- Half cover with water and cook with the pan half covered.
- Keep squeezing the pumpkin with a wooden spoon to form a rustic puree. At the end, add the grated ginger. Mix and book.
- In a large skillet heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and add the sliced onion. Sprinkle with a little salt and brown sugar. Let the onion saute until it caramelizes.
- Remove the onion and place the ground beef in small handfuls to form a meat ball. Let seal and then season with salt and pepper.
- Add the already caramelized onion and let the meat finish sautéing.
- Serve the meat over the mash and finish with green smell!
