- Wheat for Quibe250 mg
- Ground beef (duckling)500 mg
- Chopped Onion1 unit(s)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Mint to taste
- Parsley to taste
- Butter1 tablespoon
- Wheat flour2 tablespoon
- Milk250 ml
- We nutmeg to taste
- Grated or sliced mozzarella250 g
- Chopped seedless tomato2 unit(s)
- Olive oil to taste
- Preparing the Kibbeh: Hydrate the wheat with hot water, enough to cover the wheat, for 15 minutes. Remove all the water with the help of a cloth and then add it to a bowl, add the meat, half the onion, and seasonings to taste. Line a refractory with half of this dough.
- Béchamel sauce: brown the rest of the onion in the butter, add the wheat flour, stir and add the milk slowly, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened. Season with black pepper, nutmeg and adjust the salt.
- Cover the kibbeh with the béchamel sauce, mozzarella, tomatoes, and finally put the rest of the kibbeh dough on top. Brush with oil and bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC for approximately 25 minutes or until golden.
