- Tomatoes, onions, peppers, garlic and cilantro to taste
- Black pepper1 teaspoon
- paprika and cumin to taste
- Water to taste
- Charque1 kg
- Smoked pepperoni1 unit(s)
- Soybean oil.3 tablespoon
- In a pressure cooker, place the charque and the pepperoni, add soy oil and bring to the fire to fry.
- When sealed, add the black pepper, paprika and cumin, the chopped onion, tomato, pepper, garlic and cilantro, stir well until softened, add water and bring to a boil for 5 minutes and turn off the heat.
- Open the pan and add the beans already cleaned and washed, add the potato and carrot and add more water if you need to, cover the pan and bring it to the boil again with the time you usually cook beans at home.
- When the beans are ready, turn off the heat, remove the pressure, add the okra and bring to the boil again without pressure for another 4 minutes and the recipe is ready to go without salt because the jerked beef is already salted, before you put it to fry you need to scald it to remove most of the salt and ready to serve. It goes very well with white rice.
