- Soaked black beans250 g
- Paio sausage2 unit(s)
- Smoked pork ribs150 g
- Chopped Bacon1/3 cup
- Chopped Onion1/2 cup
- Chopped Garlic1 dessert spoon
- Bay Leaf1 unit(s)
- Olive oil1 dessert spoon
- Sea Salt to taste
- In a pressure cooker cook the beans with water, the sausages, the ribs and the bay leaf for about 15 minutes.
- Remove the pressure from the pan and remove the sausages and ribs. Reserve.
- In a skillet heat the olive oil and fry the bacon, add the garlic and sauté.
- Then add the onion and sauté well. Add 1 shell of cooked bean grains and knead well.
- Put this mixture inside the beans, season with salt and mix.
- Slice the sausages and the ribs and go back inside the beans.
- Let the beans boil for about 10 minutes and add more water if it thickens too much. Adjust the salt.
- Serve the feijoada accompanied by rice, braised kale, farofa and orange.
