  • Soaked black beans250 g
  • Paio sausage2 unit(s)
  • Smoked pork ribs150 g
  • Chopped Bacon1/3 cup
  • Chopped Onion1/2 cup
  • Chopped Garlic1 dessert spoon
  • Bay Leaf1 unit(s)
  • Olive oil1 dessert spoon
  • Sea Salt to taste
  1. In a pressure cooker cook the beans with water, the sausages, the ribs and the bay leaf for about 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the pressure from the pan and remove the sausages and ribs. Reserve.
  3. In a skillet heat the olive oil and fry the bacon, add the garlic and sauté.
  4. Then add the onion and sauté well. Add 1 shell of cooked bean grains and knead well.
  5. Put this mixture inside the beans, season with salt and mix.
  6. Slice the sausages and the ribs and go back inside the beans.
  7. Let the beans boil for about 10 minutes and add more water if it thickens too much. Adjust the salt.
  8. Serve the feijoada accompanied by rice, braised kale, farofa and orange.
