- Dried fava beans500 g
- Sliced Calabrian Sausage1 unit(s)
- Charque (dried meat) in pieces200 g
- Pieces of Bacon100 g
- Chopped Onion1/2 unit(s)
- Chopped Garlic2 unit(s)
- Coriander to taste
- Seasoning for beans to taste
- Cumin to taste
- Paprika to taste
- Oil1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Seasoning Edu Guedes to taste
- Soak the beans in water overnight before cooking.
- Drain the fava that goes with the hydrated grains. If you have any bad grains discard.
- Boil the charque well to remove excess salt.
- In a pan, heat the oil, garlic and onion until golden.
- Add the sausage, bacon, beef jerky and all seasonings. Add the fava and let it braise a little.
- Cover with water and cook until soft with whole grains. Taste the salt.
