- BBQ leftovers to taste
- Rice1 cup
- Boiling water2 cup
- Tomato1 unit(s)
- Olive oil or oil2 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Onion1/2 unit(s)
- Minced garlic cloves to taste
- Pepperoni (optional) to taste
- Olives (optional) to taste
- Cilantro or parsley to taste
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese1/2 cup
- Cut the leftover meat and sausage from the barbecue into slices.
- Heat the oil and add the chopped barbecue.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté well.
- Put the diced tomato and rice, season with salt and red pepper. Sauté well.
- Add boiling water and cook with the lid ajar.
- Before it becomes completely dry, add cheese and chopped cilantro, stir. Cover the pan and turn off the heat without letting the rice dry completely, so that it is brothy and creamy!
- Finish by decorating the top with olives and cilantro. Ready! An excellent option for barbecue leftovers on World Cup game day!
