- Chuck, brisket or cubed shoulder2 kg
- Beef broth tablet2 unit(s)
- Tomato paste2 tablespoon
- Caracu Beer1 can(s)
- Coarsely chopped onion1 unit(s)
- Crushed garlic cloves6 unit(s)
- Carrot slices1 unit(s)
- Red pepper strips1 unit(s)
- Oil5 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- In a pressure cooker, heat the oil and fry the onion and garlic.
- Add the meat and fry on all sides.
- Add the meat broth, salt, pepper, tomato paste and beer. Mix.
- Let it boil well to release the gas from the beer.
- Cover the pan and when it reaches pressure, reduce heat to low.
- Cook for 45 minutes.
- Remove the pressure and shred all the meat. If it's still not ready, go back to pressure for another 10 minutes.
- Add the carrot and pepper, cooking with the pan uncovered until the sauce thickens well.
- If necessary, adjust the salt.
- Serve as a filling for a sandwich, pancake, with rice and beans or as a side dish.
