Filet Mignon with Cheese Sauce

- Filet mignon in cubes or strips500 g
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Butter1 tablespoon
- Wheat flour1 tablespoon
- Milk500 ml
- Catupiry cheese1 cup
- Grated Parmesan Cheese50 g
- White wine1/2 cup
- Season the meat with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Heat a deep frying pan or pan with oil and grill the meat until golden brown. Remove the meat and place in a refractory. Reserve.
- Add the butter and scrape the bottom of the skillet well to capture the flavor of the meat in the sauce.
- Add the wheat flour and saute for 2 minutes
- Add the milk and continue stirring with a whisk, over medium heat, until it thickens.
- Add the wine and cook for 3 minutes.
- Add the cheese and Parmesan and mix well. You can finish with green smell, if you want.
- Pour the cream over the meat, sprinkle grated Parmesan and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.
- Serve with slices of toasted Italian or Portuguese bread.
