- Sanitize the peppers, carefully remove the lid and remove all the seeds and reserve.
- In a bowl put all the ingredients (except the tomato and the tomato sauce) stir well until you combine.
- Stuff all the peppers with stuffing.
- In the pan, put a drizzle of olive oil, the tomatoes and the tomato sauce and place the peppers side by side very close to each other - put a little hot water, close the pan and let it cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the heat, place the peppers on the platter, cover with sauce drizzle with olive oil and serve next.
