- Recipe
- cubed beef (the preferred cut, preferably cuete, picaña or jerk)1/2 kg
- garlic cloves4 unit(s)
- sliced onion1 unit(s)
- Sliced Chili Peppers1 unit(s)
- Potatoes in buckets2 unit(s)
- tomato250 g
- Flour as needed. to taste
- salt. to taste
- Pepper. to taste
- A sprig of thyme1 unit(s)
- wine or beers (optional, but highly recommended)250 ml
- Passing the meat through flour, salt and seal the pan.
- Add vegetables and cover, cook for a few minutes.
- Add wine or beer and scraping the bottom of the pan, to integrate the glued parts, let the alcohol evaporate.
- Add tomato and cook for 10 minutes.
- Fill the pan with water, add herbs and let it cook until the meat is very soft and the texture of the stew is just right (it's not soup).
- Salpimenta and serve with rice.
