- large ripe bananas use 4 medium bananas3 unit(s)
- Greek yogurt62 g
- flour3 cup
- sodium bicarbonate1 teaspoon
- salt3 g
- semisweet chocolate chips or pieces1 cup
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the butter, oil and sugar. Beat in the mixer for 3 minutes. Add the eggs, one at a time, vanilla, banana and Greek yogurt. Beat well until smooth. Add the flour, bicarbonate and salt. And beat just until combined. Add the chocolate (reserve a 1/4 for decoration). Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan measuring approximately 20.3 x 7.5 x 5.8 cm. Cover the dough with the rest of the chocolate. Also, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar on top. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cover with foil halfway through baking, approximately 25 minutes to prevent the top of the cake from burning. Let cool for 15 minutes before slicing.
