- Macaroni1 to taste
- Tomato extract/sauce1 to taste
- Ground beef500 g
- Bacon1 to taste
- Pepperoni1 to taste
- Onion1 to taste
- Salt1 to taste
- Olive oil1 to taste
- First, bring a pot of water to a boil.
- Usually 1 liter of water for every 100 grams of pasta and as soon as the water is bubbling, add a handful of salt and then the pasta to cook.
- Cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally to release one from the other and the pasta to be “al dente”.
- Remove from heat, drain the water and set aside.
- Soon after, start preparing the tomato sauce with the ground beef.
- Put oil, onion and bacon and pepperoni to fry in a pan or skillet.
- Once the onion is translucent and the bacon bits and pepperoni are fried, add the ground beef to cook.
- Always stirring, cook the meat for five minutes over medium heat.
- Add the tomato sauce, season with salt and pepper if you prefer, and cook for another five minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
- Once the bolognese sauce is ready, toss it in the pasta and serve with grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
