- guava500 g
- water200 ml
- milk300 ml
- oil300 ml
- wheat flour (2 cups of 250g)500 g
- cornmeal (2 cups of 250g)500 g
- in the blender, beat the oil, milk, eggs and sugar for 3 minutes
- In a large bowl, place the wheat flour, cornmeal and salt, mix well, add the mixture from the blender and mix well until you get a very homogeneous mass.
- add the yeast mixture, pour this dough into 2 greased trays throw some guava paste over this dough don't worry it will go to the middle of the dough by itself take it to the oven heated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes or until it's baked
- while the cake is baking, let's make a syrup with the rest of the guava paste
- Place the guava paste in a pan over low heat with 100 ml of water and let it dissolve until it turns into a thick syrup.
- after baking, unmold the cake while it is still warm and pour the already cold guava syrup on top and just serve it
